Romantic dining in a spectacular oceanfront island setting easily accessible from Vancouver by ferry or float plane. Enjoy modern west coast cuisine with the freshest of local ingredients, with an eclectic wine list in a casually elegant setting of ocean views, polished wood, wrought iron and stone fireplaces. Set on the ocean's edge, on the grounds of the beautiful Galiano Inn and Spa. An easy day trip or an overnight stay: an island in the Pacific, just minutes away from Vancouver. Foodinc Reviews "Wonderful discovery! The restaurant is on the water (the only one on Galiano that is), with views of Mount Baker, the other islands and the greenery of Galiano. Better even than the view, the food made this a memorable visit. We loved the asian touch to the ahi tuna, the prawn and scallop appetizer was to die for. (Can you tell we're seafood lovers??) And the chocolate lava cake for me was the piece de resistance. My partner had the trio of creme brulees (the flavours change frequently. The wine list was great (lots and lots of B.C.) and the service friendly yet special (not too formal). If I had one comment to add it would be "Fantastic!".
