The name for george and lito's was inspired by stamos' dad, george sotiropoulos and angela's dad, lito campagnoni even though both of our dad's are not with us to celebrate this new venture, we know they would have been very proud. Both fathers served thousands of meals throughout the province for over 35 years, and today we continue the tradition of great food, friendly service and large portions at an affordable price. Taste two generations of serving halifax with signature dishes such as greek salad (made with feta from a local greek farmer), the much buzzed about calamari with authentic tzatziki (yes, it really is that good), and any of the extraordinary pasta dishes. Centrally located in a developing little “greenwich village”, george and lito’s is the go-to neighbourhood diner. Homemade meals and fresh ground organic coffee, this cozy restaurant offers comfort food with chic flare. |
