	We spent an enjoyable meal here last Summer. We were 2 couples both of French Canadian Heritage. The food was traditional Quebecois fare and extremely well cooked and prepared and presented. We were joined in our small dining room by a group of locals who it seemed came there pretty routinely. One gentleman had his guitar with him and we were treated to some enjoyable entertainment of many French Canadian folk songs. Many which we remembered from our childhood. Other patrons in the restaurant were attracted to the music and joined in also. A very pleasant experience and one that we will repeat next Summer. We will try to contact the restaurant to see if we can arrange for the locals to return. AAAA

	I would like to know why you do not serve baked potato to customers who order out. M y husband and I have been doing take out for many years and he like baked potato with his meal and he can't seem to get it. S o I think what we will do is go swiss chalet instead because they serve baked potato on take out. Thank you concerned customer

	What happened to Dintys, we have been there b/4 and had a great meal but this time we were 4 people and had the worst meal and actually got sick on the seafood. It is almost like this restaurant changed hands and the new owners did not follow the previous cooking.

	Today, my wife & I decided to have lunch at Big Red's in Lunenburg. My wife had a ham and cheese which wasn't particularly good. I, on the other hand, had a lobster sandwich. It was a total rip-off! It was plastered with so much lettuce, mayonnaise and pickles that I could not discern any taste of lobster whatsoever. At $18.99, I expected a sandwich with at least some tasty chunks of lobster! Oh yes, we each had a baked potato which was overcooked. Maybe Big Red's figures that since tourists are only passing through, good food and value for money doesn't really matter.

	I consider myself an expert on chinese food, but having just spent $65 on plenty of food, that had no taste whatsoever. I am very disappointed. I can honestly say that it is the worst chinese food me and my husband and daughter have ever tasted. Like water. The person who wrote the above comment must have been on a slow boat from China and had not eaten for weeks if they thought that it was good. I wouldn't even give my three dogs what was left which was a lot. We wouldn't want the dogs being sick. Tasteless and terrible value for money, we will not be returning there and would warn anyone considering trying it out to stay well clear. If we didn't have so far to drive we would have taken it back and got a refund. And it is a good job I am writing this review and not my husband or he might not have been quite so complimentary And they didn't even have a takeaway menu. When she told us the price we almost had to sit down with the shock

	i enjoy every moment there.. there are many pool tables to choose from .. it is a very clean environment.. nice quiet area. low key, the food taste great with a satisfying price, and the employees are amazing and great with costumers. i recommend this place to all my friends and family... i am also recommended this place to my boss for our next staff outing! thank you q-stir n staff for my great experiences there, n hopefully many more to come

	Very good chinese food...out of all chinese restaurants in Moncton, this is the only one I go to. Very little MSG, always well cooked and always good. Restaurant decor is not impressive, it's a family business and very friendly service. Good prices, great portions. I highly recommend this restaurant.

	We often stop at the outside patio restaurant for lunch (arriving by land or by boat). We love the ambiance of the waterside. While service can sometimes be slow either due to a lack of waitress staff or a busy kitchen - but usually we are in no hurray, so it is OK. On this particular day in August, the waitress unfortunately misunderstood our order and brought us an extra plate of nachos. She was so nice, we didn't want to make a fuss, but we also didn't want to pay an extra $15.99 plus tax for this error in communications. She left the extra plate of nachos on the table and said she would talk to her Boss. The Boss/Owner actually marched right over to our table and said - "I don't know what you expect me to do with them...you ordered 2 plates, my waitress heard you order 2 plates - you have to take it". When I said that there was obviously just a misunderstanding and we didn't order 2 plates - he actually said/yelled (and I quote) - "Are you calling my waitress a liar? Because I can bring her over here and we can have it out!". At that point, I almost choked on my food as I could not believe my ears! He proceeded to march off towards his waitress. About 5 minutes later, he came back to the table - took the extra plate of nachos - and didn't say a word. The next time the waitress came to our table, she was so apologetic - and we told her we were so sorry that she had to work for such a nasty man! Good customer service is certainly not his forte, and I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with this man.

	I ate the fish and chips every time we were there. The food was great although lots of fat/weight producing calories. One meal more than consumes my daily allowance. They need an alternative to the FF pots such as slaw, green salad, turnip greens or other healthy veggies. Otherwise, all the patrons will become obese because the food tastes and is so good that the patrons will clean their plates.

	I have stayed at Mooswa on 3 seperate occassions and have had a wonderful time. This time things were not so good. We stayed in the condos that they have and there are paper thin walls between the rooms. We did not get any sleep and the people staying beside us where being very loud so we made a complaint to the front desk and they told us to suck it up and that they were not being loud, without even investigating the situation. We made 3 complaints about noice and were told that we were being unreasonable. The service we received from the owners was hidious and would not recommend anyone staying at the resort. When we mentioned that we would be checking out early due to them not taking our complaints seriously, they told us that that was probably a good idea. They also mentioned that the people in the room beside us had been staying there for 10 years so there was nothing they were going to do about the noise. I gues a 10 year guests money is better then someone that has only stayed there 4 times in 10 years. at this place the customer is never right and no respect is given to guests that stay there.

	I was into the Mt Pearl Wendy's on Sunday, August 29, 2010 and ordered an apple pecan salad to take out. While waiting I could see them making the salad. By the time I received it four people had their hands in it and only one had gloves on. First a female put lettuce in container without gloves, then the person on the cash brought the salad over the table where the other ingredients were and he put his hands in a container and took out some I would guess pecans without gloves on (did not wash his hands) then the other person at the table who had gloves on cut up the apple and put that in. The same young man who was on the cash brought the salad containter over to the front counter and could not get the lid to fit on properly and salad came out of container over the counter he tried to pick it up with his hands and put back in and still could not get the lid on. One of the ladies then asked if she could put the lid on for him and she without gloves stuffed some of the lettuce in the container. I mentioned to them about what happened and they asked me if I wanted another made, I said no and wanted a refund which I had no problem getting. But that is not the issue, by the time the salad got to me, the customer, it really was not fit to eat. I feel this should be investigated and something done about it. I realize the same thing maybe occuring when we cannot see it, but it should not be in day and age where safety and health is such an issue. I really do not think I will be eating at Wendy's anymore.

I am not sure of the name of the restaurant. If this is not the correct restaurant, please forward to the applicable one. Thank you. I was in your restaurant at 11:30 on Sunday, August 29th. I am a visitor to Saskatchewan and am enjoying taking in the small-town restaurants. I have to say, though, that I was NOT impressed (words spoken by the server herself in another context aimed at me) by the attitude of the server in the restaurant. I had pulled up my car alongside the restaurant, which was apparently the incorrect thing to do. When I sat down at the table, she asked me "is that your car"? I said, "yes". And that was the end of the conversation. I waited for her to explain her question, but she did not continue. Then a couple entered the restaurant and sat down right near me. The server commented to them that she noticed they had to park at the end of the restaurant because of the car parked alongside. Then she commented, "yeah, I was NOT impressed". I would have been more than happy to move the car and park it "correctly" if she would have politely asked me to do so. But the fact that she commented to other people in front of me about the situation did NOT impress me. Because of the extremely impolite actions and comments of this server - my review of this restaurant is complete dissatisfaction.

	Yesterday, my husand and 2 1/2 year old went to the restaurant about 2:30 in the afternoon. The buffet is advertised from 11:30-5:00 p.m. It was $14.99 for both of us to eat and $3.99 for our child. Most items on the buffet had been sitting there since 11:30, from how dry and over-cooked everything was, and a lot of the items were pretty much depleted. After eating for a time, I looked down at my plate and saw a hair (which was not the same color as mine). I called the waitress over and told her there was a hair on my plate. All she was was "oh" and took my plate away. She never asked if I'd like something else or anything (which obviously I wouldn't have eaten anyway) I was totally disgusted at this point. Upon getting our bill, I asked my husband if they had given us a discount. He said no, but when he went to pay they did give him a 10% discount. How generous!! I guess a hair in your food is only worth the taxes. So we paid $40 for a dried up, hairy meal! Here is one family that will never be eating there again.

	Don't go to this Earls if you are expecting to get value and enjoyment for your dollar. The martini I orderd showed up at the table half full and with one once of vodka. I was charged the full price on the bill. This is the second time (at this location) this has happend. The cajun spiced chicken caesar salad I had, left a lot to be desired. The chicken was in very small pieces and not much of it either. It was dry and overly salted. Had to remind the server that the pan bread, that comes with the salad has the olive oil and balsamic dip with it. This being a Friday night, the place was 80% empty...now I know why. Worst meal I've had at an Earls. Stay clear.

	the customer service was deplorable. the manager of the hall treated the event as if it were a highschool dance. yelling at patrons to not go upstairs, when they were only unaware where the bathrooms were. a friend of ours left her camera on her dinner plate and the plate was cleared. when we asked the manager to please help us find it (as we are not allowed in the kitchen) she literally yelled at us saying they are not to blame. we were not blaming, we were asking for assistance in finding it. when our family decided not to drive home after a few drinks, we call the next day to inquire about our vehicle, and are advised it will be towed. i would rather have taken the chance driving home then have my car towed and pay the pound. the manager is a witch of a woman and should not be in the customer service industry...especially involved in weddings. so much for a happy celebration.

	After waiting 45 minutes for our food, having asked for our wonton soups twice We did get the soups after waiting 1hr 5 min. Only 2 of our party of 5 had ordered soup and the rest of us just waited for the rest of the food. After the soup was finished, my father went and asked when the food would be ready they said right away, when he said how long they said it was coming now he asked to see it right now. The server said the chef was just starting to cook it. When asked to speak to the manager she could only say the chef didn't do well when it's busy. There were only 4 other tables! We paid for our drinks and left. I felt bad for our server who did her best to make excuses for such an abysmal experience. I will never go back and will ensure to warn anyone going to drumheller to avoid this place also. How's the food you ask? I Don't know we never got it! We left with my 2 children who were patient despite being very hungry-this place is to be avoided.

	The best restaurant in St. Jacob !!! The quality of the menu, the friendly service with a smile that is exactly what you get at the Benjamin Inn. We just been there and we recommend this restaurant to everybody. We stayed few days so we had soup, salad, wrap sandwich, beef, seafood, gelato, each meal was a feast !!!

	I had the chicken/mushroom pot pie in a creamy gravy (so they say on the menu)last night and it was horrific. It was dry and shrivelled up, with not one mushroom and not one ounce of gravy in the pie. The vegetables on the side were dry, taken straight from the steamer and put onto the plate, and the 3 red whole potatoes on the side, were again plain with not one iota of butter, herb, nothing. Is the cook possibly a summer student? We were there last week as well for a friends going away get-together, and a few of us had the fried calamari, and again, they were chewy, and hardly enough on the plate for the outrageous price they charged for them. Definitely, not the place to eat. The only thing going for this place is the outdoor patio. I cannot understand how the owner of this establishment would allow such horrible food to be served and actually charge for it? Definitely the worst food in all of Bloor West Village, and a must for a new chef and Restaurant Makeover.

The boss/manager was yelling at a waitress while she was in the middle of taking my husband's and I order. I felt very sorry for her as she was doing a good job and trying her best. She was a good waitress with a nice smile and I think the manager was too hard on her. I noticed the floors and glasses were not cleaned properly and I also noticed there was only one waitress covering the entire Restaurant. I will not be returning to this Restaurant after my first time of trying it, I was not impressed and I think the manager should invest time in finding a new profession if it's not too late.

They did say they were changing the menu to include it but the guy seemed shocked when I told him that every other restaurant I had eggs benedict at INCLUDED IT! Stay clear people, the foods not that good anyway. The poor decor didn't initially put us off - some of the best Chinese food is found in the tackiest of dives - but the food sure did. The pot sticker appetizer had apparently been deep-fried, the stuffing was the texture of watered-down spam, and the plum sauce was anemic. Kung Pao Chicken had good flavor, but the chicken was barely to be found. House fried rice had shrimp in it With Their Tails Still On, as well as unadvertised cubes of tofu - who puts tofu in fried rice as a default? And the Honey Ginger Beef was presented in a most unappealing way, with the texture of the beef looking like rehydrated beef jerky. MSG was clearly in evidence in the sauce of the latter - and, after all this, not even a fortune cookie! Skip this one and go to Saanichton Town or the Chinese Buffet on East Saanich.

It was a Monday evening (wasn't busy) and there could not have been any more than six tables in the entire restaurant...... The service we received HAD to be THE SLOWEST, I have ever received! The food took over 90 minutes to get to our table...my garden salad was extremly salty, my Seabass was over-cooked and my husband's chicken breast was overcooked as well.... We will likely not return to this establishment in the future.....

We paid $88.00 for 3 of us and I will not be returning to Swiss chalet and they certainly won't get my recommendation, too bad, because we had a supper like this in Brockville and I couldn't say enough about the good food.

	What a terrible experience!! We were a group of 8, and went for supper on Satrurday, August 14, 2010. The waitress looked like she hated her job; she was rude and not helpfull at all. After waiting for 40 minutes we get our apetizers (nachos), and after another 1/2Hr we get our food. Steaks were terrible: dry and overcooked. Fish was overcooked as well. We spent about $80/couple and I truly regret it. The manu itself is boring and dull. The decor is nice, but it did not match the rest. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL !!!!

We were offered coffee refills a number of times. Food was good no complaints at all. The atmopshere very friendly most of the people were locals that were known to the waitresses by first name. We are frequent visitors to Sturgeon Falls since my in laws live there and we have highly recommended Lorraine's for a good home cooked friendly serviced establishment. Keep up the good work...

	Was down for a night in Niagara Falls - friend told me that Garrison's was pretty good. Bought the classic steak sub (it had fried onions). Possibly the best sub I have ever had (especially since most subs i eat are from subway or Mr. Sub, which are mediocre at best). I should mention that i was sober when i had the sub, since all subs taste good at the end of the night. The only downside is that i live in Toronto, so can't travel to Niagara Falls just for a sub. We have great ethnic foods in Toronto, but as for sub sandwiches, we have nothing in Toronto to compare to this place. Expect a line, but it is worth it. My friend had the chicken caesar wrap and he really liked it too.

	Waiting is the only negative aspect of the experience. Sometimes, it can take up to an hour to get your food, but it's well worth it. I suggest ordering garlic fingers (easily the best I've ever had) during the wait. Completely authentic, made-from-scratch Italian dishes served in extremely generous portions leave you with two dinners: one that you eat at the restaurant and later on, the best leftovers you will ever eat. Everything is very modestly priced considering the amount of food you get and service is not hard to keep up on in such a small restaurant. The atmosphere is comfortable and intimate. I would highly recommend Piccolo's as a place to eat during a romantic evening. I really can't say enough good things about this truly wonderful local restaurant. Five stars.

I'd advise, that if you have $30 dollars, to spend on a steak, take it to a Business(?), that appreciates your Business.

	This place has a real nice site but the quality of the food is below restaurants costing about 1/2 the price. I had the Lightkeepers dinner which consisted of a pan fried fisherman type platter. All of the fish was cooked way too much. The 2 scallops had no tatse and were tough, the piece of cod was thin and definitely not fresh. The salmon piece was dry and overcooked as well as the piece of halibut. For a place in the midst of a fishing ground they need some desperate lesson in how to cook fish. The service was about 2 on a scale of 5. I would give the restaurant a 1 out of 5. I had a much better fish diner at a very small town called Raleigh which is about 30 km away, which had a basic restaurant but fresh fish. for 1/2 the price.

	My wife and I went to eat lunch in this restaurant few days ago. I saw the waiter was very rude to a couple who didn't leave him any tips and he questioned the couple about his service. When they told him that they weren't happy with the service, he made some remarks about the couple's nationality which was Philippines. I ordered the Chicken Fried Noodles, when it came out.....I found out that it was not pan fried noodles at all, the chef just throw the chicken, bok choy vegetables in boiling water with the noodles and served it to me. The noodles were so soggy and I complained it to the waiter and he was very upset with me. He told me that he was going to charge me half the price of that dish but when I received the check, he told me that since the boss wasn't there and he can only deduct 10% from the bill. He has a very bad and rude attitude to customers. I would never go back to this restaurant again. The food is bad and the service is lousy. Don't waste your money to eat at that restaurant.

The final coffee simply never arrived before we had to leave for a Stratford festival play. The house wine was vastly over-priced, even for those of us in Ontario accustomed to the normal gouging. In short, this restaurant needs a do-over. It offers nothing for the prices it charges or the claims it makes.

	We overnighted next door on our way through Clearwater two years ago, and the buffet offered here was good value, if uninspired. It was a busy but friendly location then. This last July again on our way through we returned for an a la carte dinner - wound up paying three times as much as for the buffet for very small portions that had little connection to the known recipé versions (Szechuan beef and chicken with seasonal greens). There was absolutely nothing Szechuan or seasonal greens appearing, and even the steamed rice missed the mark presenting as a loose grained overpriced bowl. Next time we'll buy some fresh buns and meat from the deli and bakery up the highway, and go sit and eat in the park just down the North Thompson River or in the municipal park on Dutch Lake.

	We use to frequent this facility when visiting the Hanover / Durham area but had not been there for a few years, it was always good in the past but when we visited recently it was terrible - I'm not sure if it's under new management but it was filthy dirty, windows, tables didn't look as if they'd been cleaned in weeks, and full of flies. My husband's burger even came without the burger inside and at $30.00 dollars for 2 adults and a child - pretty pathetic for a burger joint...Will never return !

	Be prepared to drop some serious coin for the tasting menu ($300 for two)but you would pay 5 times that in Paris and 3 times that in NYC. It is still worth it and this dining experience will rank as one of the best meals you will ever have. Steve

	There is definatley an improvement in this establishment in the last month.We would like to comment on the great improvement.Now the restaurant is OPEN regular hours,and the food and service have improved 90%. Whoever is responsible for this improvement must be commended. There is a need for updating the furnishings, however. Now we also notice a much cleaner smell in the whole establishment. We used to frequent this Inn, but had stopped and now pleased to say we WILL once again be regulars.Keep up the good work Grey.

	Wow! I have to say that after the experience we had tonight we are going to be regulars! The seafood crepe that my husband had was mouth watering and made me wish that I had ordered it. However, I was not disappointed with the fish and chips that I ordered. In order to enjoy my dessert I had to have half my fish and chips to take out!!!The portions were too large we could not eat it all...and the banana split crepe...to die for!! I would recommend this restaurant to any one...not that I would have to tell any one it seems that everyone already knows about it...the place was blocked.

	Overall a terrible experience. I ordered the special, a halibut dish. When it arrived I tried the garlic toast which was just a piece of bread with some butter on it, having no taste at all. The rice was dry and luke warm, when I tried the fi(bleep) was even worse. The fish was uncooked in the middle and cold. Not a good mix. I sent this back and reordered a chicken souvlaki. This meal was also uninspiring with little flavour, at least the rice was not dry but I could not say that for the chicken When I asked for my bill they had taken $2.00 off the bill. The problem was they had charged me $1.00 than what the special was advertized at. I inquired about that and they told me they made a mistake and prepared the wrong dish, the fish off the menue. I told them I was prepared to pay for the dish I ate which was $16.00, which they then charged me. During the wait I saw that the staff was very inattentive seating people at dirty tables or ones that were not set up yet. The manager was no better as he first gave me a lunch menu and then just dumped menus on tables for the customers as they arrived. I also saw the manager disapline staff on the floor in front of customers. As I stated earlier, overall a terrible experience.

	The male manager here is some sort of wiered control freak and inpersonal. I was eating my supper here the other night and he decided to use his 'people skills' to embarass customers in front of everyone else. It totally put me off my food and, as we have children, we decided to leave earlier than expected because he antaganiszed this other couple at their table and kept coming back for a 'fight'. It was over a misunderstanding about him not understanding that they were camping and walking back to their boat (1 minute walk away). He kept demanding their car keys. All this was unnecessary and really upset my children. We went out for a quiet supper and had to put up with this. We eat out several times a week and have never witnessed anything like this before. He must have confronted them not once, but 6 times. It was horrible to watch. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. He said he owned the place and could do what he wanted. The place certainly cleared out fast enough after that. I don't think we'll ever go back. Some other table(s) tried to tell him to back off, but he wouldn't listen. Good luck to those of you who go because of the convenience (right on the lock when you are camping at the lock with your boat), but don't go with children. It was a very upsetting experience for them and all the other guests.

	If you travel up to the Bruce or beyond you must make a stop at this place. we have been going to this place for 25 years or so. And the quality has remained the same. I am happy to report that I now take my children as my parents took us and we will continue to go as long as they are around. We are from Kitchener, and occationally we will drive up to Clifford just to go to the Redwood. The food is excellent the service is friendly and it is amazing that these people remember you !!

	As an Islander, I've always held Gillis' Restaurant close to my heart. It's food is delicious, the service is prompt and friendly, and the prices can't be beat! On top of that, it's a drive-in! It's a truly unique and enjoyable way to share a family meal.

	when we were asked to pay full price for a meal that we found unsatisfactory and did not eat, we were somewhat shocked. whatever happened to the old adage 'the customer is always right'? this establishment has permanently lost two customers who are living here for the season due to poor business acumen. we arrived with a good will towards this restaurant and an honest desire to enjoy it. the owner refused to 'comp' our two entrees and, therefore, we have decided never to visit again. one small gesture would have insured our continued business.( please note that the menu item listed as 'sweet potato fries' is a misnomer as what is served is a boiled/baked sweet potato served in wedges and not at all what a customer would expect when ordering fries. downright misleading if not dishonest.)
