| The Steak Pit is absolutely worth taking the drive out of Calgary to be able to go and savour the flavours. People can either Broil their Own steak or choose from a broad variety of items. One of the reasons that this restaurant has such a wonderful rustic feel to it, was that the owner Gordon Shoults built the restaurant by hand about 40 some odd years ago. It started out as a hamburger stand, and grew into a wonderful world class restaurant... Their secret salad dressing is to die for. I dont know if they sell it off site, but boy they should! Again, I give this restaurant a full thumbs up. I have visited it for many of the 40 years, watched it grow and for as long as it is there, I will visit it again and again. Thanks! | ||||||
