We had the shrimp scampi's to start with a glass of white wine mmmmmmmm. My favorite is the veal, with potato's and veggies. As to the previous reviews, I did not find the food any more greasy and or buttery then any other italian restaurant. As we do eat out at higher end establishments usually 3-4 times a week with business partners, I feel I have a very good range of restaurants to compare from. Actually if it was more buttery and or greasy it would probably be twice as good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great italian food with a family owned touch. Service was excellent both times we ate there. Try it for yourself... |

When we arrived, the hostess was not even given a chance to see where our table was, when someone else ( the owner's daughter,I think) came and rushed us to a seat right beside the door. While we took the seat, we then asked to be moved as it was very cold . As other patrons came in after us, they were asked if they would like a table by the fireplace, as well, would they like to check their coats (we not not offered this option and draped our coats over the chair, not too safe for the waitering staff). Once the service person came to our table, we were asked for our drink orders and menu orders, at the same time......NOT ACCEPTABLE....we wanted to linger over a drink before dinner.....I ordered the halibut and salmon filet, and the first bite of halibut included bones.....GROSS! When my husband had the salad, he was not even offered ground pepper but the other patrons were...... Not only would I not go back to Pasquales, I will not recommend it to anyone I know, friend or foe.... |

It seemed we waited to long to be seated in a place that was not busy at all. We didn't however have to wait long for the food to come. Our group of 4 ventureing out every other wed to restaurants in and around the city, this one is a place we won't return to. |
