The sad part about it is, when you look around at the dirty counters where they hold the glasses, and you hear the talk in town about the cleanliness of the kitchen, it is hard to eat there. A family-operated restaurant, their is a table at the back that the family sits at and basically watches you. The only time they seem to not see you is when you are trying to get their attention. I try not to be too harsh, because the food is really very good - if you just try to close your eyes and pretend that you are sitting in someone's home and wouldn't care about what's going on in the kitchen or the ambience, then it will be a very good experience. However, if you are sensitive to any of the things mentioned above, or like your servers to dress appropriately for serving food, you may not be able to get past it. |
