1 | Tue Aug 28 17:53:11 2007 | foodincjr | 8.40 | It's a firkin place to eat. I love the English style curry. The free wifi is an added bonus. |
2 | Fri Jun 13 17:48:35 2003 | Mel&Mel | 5.20 | Good British food. The steak and kidney pie is especially good, and the fries are good too. Unfortunately, we've been twice and both times the service was poor (careless, inattentive, not welcoming). The place is also a bit on the expensive side for what you get. Note that coffee and tea are $3 each. Like all the Firkin restaurants, the place only serves Pepsi, a problem since Mel is allergic to citric acid and so cannot drink Pepsi products. The Goose and Firkin calls itself a "Freehouse." In Britain, that would mean they are not tied to any particular beer company. Here, shouldn't that mean your choice of Coke or Pepsi? |
