1 | Tue Feb 8 15:24:52 2005 | 2katss | 5.00 | Of all the Swiss chalets I have been at this is the worst. They are slow and the chicken never seems done enough. We do not patronize this one anymore. |
2 | Fri Dec 10 21:51:22 2004 | Anonymous | 2.60 | Where to begin....our waiter took our order and then disappeared. We had to request butter for our rolls, sour cream for the baked potatos and eventually they brought the dipping sauce. The coffee had grinds in the bottom of both cups from different coffee pots. The Shirley Temple my daughter had contained a dark hair, she is blond. The chickens were overcooked to crispy quality, the potato undercooked and hard. Dessert wasn't an option for us until we were at the fuming point for being left without any assistance all evening. Even had we wished to complain about the service etc., at the time, there was no waiter to complain to. The washrooms, 1 was broken, 2 had feces on the seats and remnants in the bowls, which left us with one to use. The table too was not overly clean. We have been to this particular restaurant a number of times and have never experienced such incredibly poor service, quality of food or lack of cleanliness. Perhaps there has been a change in management???? My recommendation would be to find your chicken elsewhere. Cambridge has an abundance of restaurants to choose from so it won't be hard. Perhaps if enough people complain (I've done so to head office) the changes will be made to ensure this location meets the Swiss Chalet standards again. |
