| Sat Nov 4 23:33:12 2006 | Anonymous | 10.00 | A food lover who has tried many restaurants locally and internationally I am very happy to have Babel Fish in my town. Every time I had dinner there I was extremely impressed with the coziness of the room, the friendly staff and the amazing food. I highly recommend it. |
| Thu Feb 9 12:58:00 2006 | Noodle5 | 10.00 | Loved everything about it from top to bottom, my only complaint is the portions are quite large, but that said I had lunch for the next day! Tried a bread pudding with a carmel and bourbon sauce that was unbelieveable!!! |
| Wed Feb 8 16:55:21 2006 | lilly | 6.20 | We had heard about this place and were looking forward to a great meal...it did not live up to our expectations. The service was very good, but the food was quite a let down. The mussels had no flavor and were over-priced, the pasta was over-cooked and also lacked flavor. We will not return. |
| Mon Jun 20 14:14:16 2005 | s&m | 8.40 | I first heard of this restaurant on the Food Network, and I remembered to check it out while visiting the city. What a treat. The service was great, the atmosphere wonderful, and the food was amazing. I have recommended it to friends who still live in the area, and I'll definitely go back the next time I'm through Guelph. Anyone who enjoys fine food and drink will love it. |
| Sun Aug 22 18:42:17 2004 | APLARover | 8.20 | Enjoyed a lovely appetizer of steamed mussels in a tomato, garlic & bacon broth which was excellent. The smokey bacon added a nice flavour to the broth. The mussels were plentiful and tender. My main course was monkfish medallions in a tomato, caper & red wine reduction accompanied by rice and a medley of mixed vegetables. The fish was excellent and the portions generous. A very nice white wine by the glass added to the meal. I passed on dessert and ended with a coffe. Service was attentive but not intrusive. I would recommend the restaurant based on this my first visit. |
| Sun Mar 7 09:53:44 2004 | Anonymous | 9.40 | We eat out often and this is our favourite place to dine. The employees are a delight and the food is excellent. The only recommendation I have is that for the price I would perhaps put a better quality or size of crab in the seafood pasta. Please try this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. |
| Wed Feb 25 15:41:56 2004 | Nicks Dad | 8.00 | WE've been many times and have never been disappointed. THe service is always great and the food is fantastic. The only slight problem is the closeness of the tables. Although I am incredibly intersting to listen to, (ha ha) i do not find the conversations of my neighbours particularily intersting. |
