Their meat entrees are generally excellent, but they tend to choose "fancy-schmancy" over "fresh and tasty" in their vegetable accompaniments. The Bella Vita's meat courses are good enough to not need propping up by pretentious side dishes. I, personally, far prefer fresh vegetables properly cooked and attractively served to an unrecognized concoction smothered in "something". It would be nice if they offered a baked potato with classic toppings as an alternative to their "fancy" offerings (although their rice is very good). Just my opinion. |
