We persevered down the 100 km of gravel from the main road to Waskaganish, and were SO pleasantly surprised at the whole welcoming that we received, from everyone in the town. The meal was so thoroughly enjoyable and restored us so fully that we were considering not going back to our departure point, that morning. Great roast beef sandwiches, homemade soups, deserts, great service...everything that you'd want...and maybe wouldn't have expected that far off the road. |
