The pie crusts seemed 'lardy' and the pies were dry and the apples not fully cooked. I bought the Mumble Crumble(?) and the Apple Caramel. They were disappointing and not certainly not worth the $10 per pie. |

1.60 | Deceivingly pleasant-looking tourist attraction off Hwy 401. Was sold a pie to eat in their dining area, but staff refused to give us a paper plate and fork, which were in plentiful supply behind the counter. When we politely asked for the manager, he left a group of customers from a tour bus with whom he was arguing and told us to leave immediately or he would call the police and have us charged with trespassing, also threatening my elderly mother by wrapping a chain around his fist. We brought the pie home and found that it was poorly cooked and contained many stems and pieces of apple cores. |
