| 1 | Thu Apr 27 10:11:03 2006 | Anonymous | 6.60 | I wish to inform you of your loss of business from myself and the rest of the group of 12 that I was dining with at your restaurant on Tuesday April 25, 2006. Of the twelve people in our party five ordered your daily special of $8.99 ALL you can eat muscles. We were not informed until placing our second re-plating of muscles that the supply was rather low and that this would be our final plate of the ALL you can eat muscles. Two of our group received two plates of muscles and the remaining three received three plates. Upon hearing that our ALL you can eat purchase was not as advertised in your menu we asked our server to speak to the manager about this situation. The manager refused our initial request to speak with him and opted to let the server inform us that we were basically out of luck and that there was nothing that could be done about the situation. Once again we asked to see the manager and he approached us in a very confrontational manner by addressing us with the comment "So I here we have a problem here". Our concerns were addressed to your manager and his response was that it is corporate policy that no substitutions are given on daily specials. We felt that as a group ordering an ALL you can eat special that we should have been given prior notice that the special could not be honored to completion. The way that your manager addressed the situation caused our whole party to settle up our bills and leave your establishment for another. This problem could have easily been handled in a more professional manner then what was displayed this past Tuesday. We came to Tailgate Charlie's on co-worker recommendations, as our group frequents different eating establishments after work regularly in the downtown area. We as a group agree that this situation needed to be brought to the attention of management as we felt cheated as paying customers and so that a similar accurance may be prevented in the future. |
