1 | Sat Jun 9 21:29:32 2007 | Anonymous | 8.60 | I have been going to this restaurant for a couple of years, with various friends and with my husband. I return because of the delicious food, attentive service and comfortable mileu. You get good quality of fresh food, with a surprisingly extensive menu. |
2 | Tue Apr 27 12:35:22 2004 | forseti | 1.00 | I did not know there was such a thing as "retro Italian" but I soon found out the Piazza Allegra is it when I walked. I do not think they have updated that place in 35 years (probobly why the baseboard heaters don't work and water dripping through the glass windows). Food was worse than boring Italian (i.e. tomatoes ploped on pasta), I haven't had Italian in a while (for the reason sited above: it is all the same and this restaurant was no different). The waiters were not any help in making an informed selection they could not even get our orders right. More interested in telling us how busy it was the night before but it was barren when we were there. My recommendation is: STAY AWAY FROM HERE. |
