There was a full page ad in the newspaper telling us that the Hobby Horse had a new chef and sous chef with a new menu. We tried it out and it was terrible. The fries were way to salty (my kids wouldn't eat them and if teenage kids don't like the fries there is a problem). The salty fries were brought to the attention of the owner (who was also our waiter) and he said "you just aren't used to the new salt - we are using sea salt now". Sorry Jim but we use sea salt all the time when we cook at home and know what sea salt is like. Not listening to your customers is your first mistake. We won't be back! |
