Firstly, to access the mens room I had to dodge George's brother three times as he was so busy seating three ladies - I literally had to exit into the lobby to get on the other side of the bar so I could make it into the men's room in time. The wife throughly enjoyed her prime rib - Was that the special? I never would have know because the waitress never informed our table of it (my wife learned of it by chatting with George about the outdoor smoking area and she always assumes I heard what was said to her when she is half way across the bar). The menu would be vastly improved if choices were available for the left side of the menu. I really do not care for ordering a sandwich with fries/chips. I prefer a salad, baked or mashed potatoes, or some other low-fat/less greasy option. I know all establishments have to attempt to cater to all of their clientel, but the guy they seated next to me with the morroccas should not fit the bill. I had to move once to avoid being struck and all he did was take up more floor space. I spent the bands's first song waiting for him to hit me wiht one of the darn things. By the second song I eithe rhad to "escort" him out of the drafty back door we were seated next to or leave myself. Unfortunately the party I was with was disappointed that we had to leave as there were no other tables available and I really did not feel like having to eject this patron on my own. I might try the Barnea Tavern again, but they really need to make a few changes and cater to their patrons a bit more. |
