	Still the best ceaser salad in Southern Ontario - including Toronto. Outstanding service. One our guests couldn't make it and manager literally filled in. Thanks to Dave Brown for a terrific meal.

	Checked out the Miller for Sunday dinner. Sat downstairs in the bar. This is a good spot, one of our favourites. Comfy atmosphere. Great service. Classy place that's clearly drawing tons of repeat business. Location is good (Yonge south of 401) for getting there easily from anywhere in the city.

	This is a new hot spot in Thornhill. Eclectic Grille menu with a range of prices from burgers at $9 through steaks, seafood in the mid-$20's. Great, comfy decor. Hopping!!! Live band after 10. Place was packed. No rush to turn the tables - when you're there, you're there. Even picked up a couple of free glasses in a Stella promotion!

	This is a great place. Favourite meeting location for business people to meet between Cambridge/Waterloo and Toronto. Friendly staff. Need wi-fi.

	Hy's was a major disappointment. Just like the Toronto Maple Leafs this place only survives thanks to Bay Street expense accounts. The food was terrible - limp ceasar salad, overcooked baked potatoes, and one of the worst steaks I've ever had. Meanwhile, the pricing is outrageous - the steaks all start at around $30. No one in our group had a good meal. If you're thinking chain-based steak in TO stick to the Keg.

	I've eaten here before but got reintroduced by a friend for one reason - to try 'the best hamburger' in Waterloo. He's right. All steak and cheap. He tells me that Janet Lynn's would love to get the value message out but recognize their place in Waterloo is 'fine dining'. From what I saw there is great value here and great food.

	O'Carrolls in Halifax is a great place - neat decor, excellent service, fun bar with music. Unfortunately, night we were there, food was just OK. You get set up with higher expectations and let down seems big. I'd go back - maybe it was an off night (Sunday, not busy). Bar has wi-fi!

	Ate there before a Toronto Rock game. Apparently it's the home of the Toronto Rock - packed and tons of energy. Despite that, service was fast and attentive - although with 6 people serving - a little confusing. Food is good. Beer is good. Good place.

	This place is a not so hidden gem. Neighbourhood pub that's well known by some but overlooked by others. Mistake. Food is excellent quality for pub food and service is polite, friendly. Super clean and large selection of beers.

	This Keg could do better. I've eaten here 2x now and get the sense of...ho hum. The food seems a notch below typical Keg quality - has the Keg taken it's quality down? The service is professional but robotic. Bar is good with good atmosphere.

	Haven't been to Sole in a while. It hasn't changed. Still a great place to meet someone - yak, have a good meal and a glass of wine. Even the daily sandwich special was different, tasteful. Attentive, professional service. Sole is worth going back to.

	This restaurant was disappointing. It's got everything going for it. Cool atmosphere, friendly staff, be-seen customers. However, the food just doesn't live up to its presentation - or price. I had the clam chowder - with real clams in a shell- but overall pretty tastelss. Same with the halibut. I'm not a chef, but I might suggest lay-off some of the gimickry and focus on flavour. Too bad.

	Outstanding experience at Oregano North. I had my in-laws with me and everyone was very impressed. Large comfortable dining room. Great food. Piano man playing on the weekends. Unexpected and very good.

	Tutto Bene is a great fun, noisy italian restaurant. Favourite for many in Thorhnill. Food at Tutto Bene is authentic italian. Prices are reasonable. If it's your birthday chance of some serious serenading from the wait staff.

	Ferrovia is a great 'neighbourhood' location. Favourite for many in Thorhnill. Easy to get to off Bayview, just north of Steeles. Lots of parking. Food is excellent and prices are reasonable.
