Tromped up and down the near ghost town streets marveling at the continuity of the archetitural style and age of the buildings. Found Chris and Irvin's. It was about 6:30 pm and it was busy. I remarked to my companion that either the food is good, or this is the only kitchen in town. I was right on both counts. Food was good, hot, respectable cafe fare. We had three meals there during our stay and were not disappointed. I took lots and lots of pictures of the buildings. The town would make an excellent location to film a '50s era movie. Coleman and it's people stole a piece of my heart. |
