1    Wed Mar 7 23:48:01 2007 Anonymous 2.20 beware: there is a 2 hour time limit per table. we were not told about this when we made the reservation for our party of 6. why not? they knew people would back out! so they'll just surprise you when you get here! what is worse is the owner was the one tapping on her watch, huffing and puffing and puffing and cleaning our tables before we even finished our dessert. don't bother with their oyster platter $88 that comes with 100 pieces (or thereabouts)....out of that $88 and 100 pieces? 10 oysters! 20 peices of mussels and shrimp... point is they called it an oyster tray....when really it was more like a seafood tray. both owner and chef did not show any courtesy when we asked if it was necessary to have usehered us out like so and showed little interest, in fact, rudely belittled ourr feedback...it's crazy how they can talk to us after when we just spent $700? They overbooked and was not going to let anyone stop themfrom turning over their tables for more money.....i can find better food faster than finding a restaurant that appreciates their customers. needlesstosay, they lost our business and any referral.
2    Sun Nov 6 06:08:54 2005 Jacsdad 7.20 This restaurant was disappointing. It's got everything going for it. Cool atmosphere, friendly staff, be-seen customers. However, the food just doesn't live up to its presentation - or price. I had the clam chowder - with real clams in a shell- but overall pretty tastelss. Same with the halibut. I'm not a chef, but I might suggest lay-off some of the gimickry and focus on flavour. Too bad.
