1    Thu Apr 7 02:53:10 2005 Stephm 9.60 Peppercorns is an establishment that gives you the downtown vibes, while staying north of the city. Its a great place to enjoy good food and a peaceful and positive atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the ambiance is great!!!
2    Wed Feb 16 15:46:56 2005 The major 4.00 Firstly to tout yourself as a Steakhouse, one would agree that your best item on the menu would be your steak. No? My first visit with my fiancé to Peppercorns left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. The service from the waiter was impeccable, the ambiance very beautiful, but the total service was to be desired and I will explain why. Firstly it all started off well. Our appetizers and (oops)tails went well, but when the main course came, I ordered a 22 oz cowboy steak medium. When my steak arrived, it looked fine on the outside but when I began to carve into it I realized that there was a thin but very noticeable layer of raw meat approximately ¼ of an inch, NOT RARE OR MEDIUM RARE, but purple raw meat, at which time my steak began to bleed red blood onto the plate as if I had a nosebleed. I of course returned the steak for it was no where near the "medium" of which I ordered. To say the least, I have a very strong stomach but it turned my fiancé’s and when the steak came back the restaurant manager came with it. She asked me to see if the problem was corrected, did not apologize or offer us anything and then left. We continued our night determined not to allow that blatant and obvious disrespect towards us to ruin our evening. She must have been really busy with the rest of the restaurant patrons. I guess we were not important enough because her demeanor clearly indicated she had something more important to do and rushed off. We ordered desert and coffees, our bill come out to $140.00 for two without tip(!!!!), and realized nothing had been complimented on our bill. Not even desert. If this were any other restaurant, the entire meal would have been complimented. Peppercorn’s is trying to run with the big boy "high end steak houses", but obviously this restaurant falls way short. It can't even get its steak right. It obviously lacks the class from its administration in how it should treat its customers. It will never see my business again nor get any recommendations from me to my friends and business associates.
3    Sun Jun 27 23:49:34 2004 marie 10.00 I consider myself a conoisseur of steakhouses and fine wines. On each of our numerous visits, Peppercorns provided a wide variety of dishes which were all exceptional in their taste, presentation, and price. Meat dishes were succulent and grilled exactly to our liking. The service was impeccable and I immediately feel at home in the upscale yet inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody interested in a new twist on steakhouses!
4    Thu Jun 10 18:00:33 2004 FoodLuvr 10.00 Today for lunch a few friends and me stopped by a new restaurant in Woodbridge. We were incredibly impressed by what the new owners have done with this place. We used to go by there when it was called Pasta Works but to compare these two restaurants...there is no comparison. I've never been so "WOWED" with a restaurant in a very long time. By the way the food was fantastic...finally a steakhouse with "flair", a steakhouse with a twist no wonder they said "A New Generation Of Steakhouses" Thanks for a great excperience.
