Taste was very good. Was not served with the peas, as advertised on menu. No garnish. Was thus very colourless and unappealing to look at. Server said item did not come with vegetable. Offered a thick, mushy cranberry sauce. Potatoes -consistency thin. Expected fresh meat, not processed roll. Temperature of food was barely warm. Lemon mousee - was a thick cream, not much taste or appeal; also no garnish; suggest a fruit or coulis garnish. Dessert served in a tulip dish with a thick dessert spoon that was too large to fit into the bottom of the dish. Service - girl did very well. For a party of 22-23, need more than one server to get the food and drinks out to everyone at once. |

(probably because it's one of the few which allow smoking). Downstairs is large and noisy during lunch. The food is OK. The beer selection is great. :) |
