Terrible service and to be avoided. The pizzas aren't bad, though I find the crust too thick and soggy, but that's a personal aspect. What is really horrendous is that they are incredibly overpriced and are probably the most rude and impolite people in the northern hemisphere. Customer service for them consists of screaming at you on the phone. When they got my order wrong they didn't call me to try to fix it. They waited 90 minutes to send a driver to tell me we had to pay more since the girl I spoke to on the phone incorrectly entered the amount - not the card number - into the machine. They didn't bother prepping the pizzas and sending them with the driver, they did nothing at all. When I called back to ask why they didn't do anything the girl on the phone started yelling at me, telling me it was my fault when she was the one who admitted to incorrectly entering the purchase amount in the credit card machine. I would write more, but no more room.

I came in with my mother and my brother. There were a lot of people so we had to wait. The cashier, a brown haired girl, told us with a rude tone we would be seated in 20 minutes. After 40 minutes, my mother was getting upset because the cashier let people who came in after us go seat and eat. We were three and groups of twelve were getting seated. After a while, my mother asked what was the problem and the cashier and the manager were very rude with us and they yelled at us that if we weren't happy, we could go away. They nearly pushed us out of the restaurant. I would never go in again, and I hope that you wouldn't too. They are jerks that don't care about customers. If you want to have a nice time, don't go there.

I would have to say that the ambiance and food is exellent at this restaurant. For someone who retuns to this restaurant many times, I would highly recommend it. Unfortunately, the last time I visited I had the most discouraging experience of having Michel as a waiter. Not only was he not friendly, he was extremely rude. He was upset at us that he got the bills wrong, he never cracked a smile and always had something to day under his breath. At the end of the night when tip came around, he got what he deserved. Not only did he read his tips in front of us, he would curse and swear in front of us about what we had given him. Please I recommend going but if you see that you are going to have Michel as a waiter, ask to be changed to another table with a different waiter as everyone else I have experienced there were very pleasant.

c'esttrop cher pour ce que nous avons mangé,il existe des endroits pour le meme prix nous avons droit a du fromage,un petit granité et un petit porto.le service était lent,la serveuse passait son temps a jasé avec l'autre serveur et nous on attendait.il fallait demander pour avoir du pain ce qui est bien normal qu'il y en ait sur la table et nous faire payer pour l'eau,c'est assez ordinaire...je ne vous dit pas a la prochaine.

Food with a very good taste and the quantities for the prices was excelent. There I have eat the best of poutine! And the buffet is directly serve to the table when there is less of customer. It is very interesting since food is then always fresh for the same price as the buffet and in you have the service!

I brought my son and his 4 friends there for his birthday. Nick was absolutely charming!!! He even advised me that it would be better for me to bring a cake instead of buying a cake from the restaurant - which was really nice - (good PR)!!! Food was great. Service was great. I went to the restaurant once and never again - while the late evening meal was not bad and the food good, it was overpriced BUT as we were the last one to leave we caught our waiter puting the biscotti he had just removed from our table back in the jar at the counter.

We came at a time where it was not busy, and we waited 45 minutes for our entrees, 30 minutes for our meal and another 30 minutes for completely melted ice cream. We used to be regular clients but we find their reputation has really taken a turn for the worse with the new administration. And many of our colleagues are agreeing. At supper time, they had one server for the whole dining room. It is unacceptable and it is unfortuate because we really did enjoy it before.

It would pay the owner to leave town once in a while to see what the rest of the world is like. For where it is located, I guess we were lucky to have a restaurant at all. The food was acceptable and filled the stomach but what I ordered for 3 days was always cold when it came. maybe they could invest in a microwave?

The poor service ruined what could have otherwise been a very nice experience. The food was good and the prices were reasonable, but the waitress hated us. Our friends made the mistake of asking for the English translation for some menu items and things went drastically downhill from there. We were given our main course and then there was no further service. No water refills, coffee, etc. We had to ask for the cheque and waited an inordinate length of time for that. It's a shame. We make an effort to be extremely nice and helpful to guests that visit our area and it would have been so much better to have been treated with at least tolerance, if not kindness or friendliness. St Sauveur is a very nice town, just not friendly to outsiders. We had a similar experience earlier in the day when I asked a question (in English)at a diner in town.

This is a 5 STAR plus restaurant. Whenever I get the opportunity to eat out or take clients, there's never a question where I'll be, Natalino is it. The staff are the best anyone could ask for, and the food simply fantastic. The chef on many occasions comes out to see if the clients are satisfied..Without a doubt the best there is.

One of the best bring your own wine restaurant on the south shore. It is worth the drive. The Food is always fresh and the service is top notch. I have eaten at several Au Vieux Duluth restaurants and the Boucherville store is by far the best. Keep up the good work!!!!!!

Tuesday evening August 24 '07 Visited in response to glowing internet review re Fred's great steaks. We received a large piece of steak, flavourful and correctly cooked but a little toothsome, surrounded by desperatly overcooked-from-frozen veg's and soggy rice (and soggy instant mashed potatoes). The waitress was wonderful but wildly overworked as customers came in (there were 4 customers when we two arrived), finally filling the place to a number of 36 people !! There was only her to work the tables until the woman from the bar came over and tried to help by taking the drink orders. I felt so bad for both the young waitress and the cook that we left without coffee and dessert. Hopefully they shared some good tips that night, they sure earned them ! When in the area again, I would give Fred's another try just because I think this was likely a most unusual situation. And people in Chapeau REALLY like their beef !!

I went to the tea room today and ordered the $30 traditional tea plate for 2 which I shared with my sister.It was pathetic! The quality and quantity of food was awful.It consisted of 2 1/4's of cucumber sandwiches,1/4 of tuna sandwich,1/4 of an egg salad sanwich each.One scone each with barely enough cream or jam,and 1 tiny square each that was dry and old.There was some fruit,but barely enough to mention.The Earl Grey tea had a funny taste and we couldn't drink it! I will never go back.

we were in this restaurant on aug 14 /2007 . as we looked at the english menu out side the lady came out and was nice and spoke english to us but when we went in to order our dinner the waitress was friendly untill we spoke english then the mood changed she could not speak english and from that point our dinner went down hill .service was very slow compared to the service at the next table that could speak french. when i complained to the lady that met us outside she would not speak english overall if you speak only english stay far far away from this restaurant .

le 4 aout dernier j'ai été mis a la porte sans etre servis par le serveuse Diane Boucher parce que je suis entrer avec mon triporteur apres avoir porter plainta a Mario le propriétaire rien n'a boucher la serveuse est toujours a son emploie et trois jours apres avoir porter plainte le gérant Maurice m'as refuser l'acces au resto parce que j'avais fais une plainte au propriétaire et il m'a refuser l'acces lui aussi avec mon triporteur ety cela devant d'autres clients présent a ce moment la je considere que le respect de la personne en perte d'autonomie n'as pas sa place a ce restaurant. c.c Journal de Montréal et La voix de l'Est

I ordered last Sunday and they took an hour and half to delivered we phoned 2 times to obtain details they told us they will call back and they didn't so when finnaly we received our order we try to obtain a reduction so we called another time at the restaurant and the receptionist told us that the owner doesn't speak French and no reduction was according to us. So in the futur me and all my friends and familly will never go their or calling to place an order.

We Loved Cosmos Cafe! We found the service very attentive, timely and knowledgeable. Kudos to the young staff who know what they are doing. The food was great, prices good and loved the decor. Check out the washrooms too.

The Owner James charged me 14.99 for one pound of smoked meat without bread. I found out later that I paid too much for a pound. He then charged me $1.50 per kosher pickle and I had four which amounted to $6. My over all thoughts were he had overcharged me because I was from out of town and didn't know better. Go to Schwartz's instead, it's well worth the wait.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was just a little girl and I am about to turn 30. I go there for every special occasion, including my university graduation. The food is great,portion size is also great and you can't beat the price. There is something for everyone. The soups are homemade and out of this world. It is a family owned business. I am about to move away and wish I could bring this restaurant with me.

we get delivery from this place often, its good food for your money, a good neiborhood place for pizza and the chicken brochette is a huge plate with salad, rice potatoes...a very good meal for your money...they have dancing on the weekends, i've never been but I drive by and the place is full...they look like they have fun.It,s not a fancy place at all, but it looks clean and popular.

I'm from Montreal and was looking for a good Japanese restaurant on my trip to Sherbrooke, and did I ever find a good one! There is a similar restaurant on the south shore called Shogun but Kaori was even better. This is by far one of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever eaten at and I strongly recommend it.

The Amirs on jean talon was a dump. You could see the flies buzzing around the meat and the lettuce "bucket" they have sitting on their table was filled with browning, soiled lettuce. The people were rude as hell. All I asked for was extra garlic sauce and the guy charged me 1.50 for it. the amirs downtown doesn't do that. the guy made it seem like I asked him to carry me down the street the way he had to "go back and put the extra sauce" that he FORGOT to do... but i'll bet they wouldnt have forgot to charge me for it though. the food was very tangy and gave me the runs almost instantly. SOme of the chicken was not cooked. It was pink and wet still. when i told the guy at the counter, he said it was supposed to be like that and looked at me like I was an idiot. Since when is raw chicken "supposed to be like that"?? Maybe i'm just picky, but when I order food, having it cooked is one of my requirements. I know I know... I ask too much... I will NOT be eating there again.

I went their today and noemi the cashier if that was her name was rude she told me that i coudn't have more than 3 bags of ketchup for my box when in fact i came to pick up ketchup for 2 boxes. Anyway it's easy to reconize her she has black long hair with a brown highlight. She has multiple earrings and she's about 5feet 5. This once was my favourite restaurant in St. Jovite. Normally, this restaurant is on my "must visit' list. However, my last visit here was nothing short of traumatic. Having received a $150.00 gift certificate, I took two friends and proudly announced that the meal was on me: would everyone please order well, at my (formerly) favourite restaurant. It was around July 5 or 6, 2007. Our waiter was Diego. Diego was overtly rude to all at the table; walked away twice to let them know that they took too long to order.He showed open dislike for a slow-thinking older woman. He served food and drinks with elbows in guest's faces. Not wanting to fuss in front of friends, I privately returned to the restaurant next day and told the manager about the incident. He shrugged it off, saying that he had complaints about Diego before. He took my name and address for the owner. Two weeks later, the owner has not bothered to call. Their business deserves to drop. The owner knows that my name is Joe, from Ontario.

I have to say. Casa grecque is one of the worst resaurants I've ever been to in my life (and I've been to quite a few). First of all they don't have pita or any other greek dishes for that matter. I ordered the surf and turf, my steak medium. It came tough like chewing gum, both the lobster and the steak. I will never eat there again. (gouin and monk located) and I had a simular experience a couple of years ago at the st-jean location.

I went there for the first time for my birthday and it was a very pleasant experience. The restaurent isn't very big so you sometimes feel cluttered and it gets noisy but the ambiance is more upscale and classy. I love the big windows on the side and we got a table there so the day lighting was great. The items on the menu are slightly pricey. They mainly have pasta and pizza dishes, I got an assortment of 3 pasta types, and although the portion wasn't very big, the price was around 15$. The food was so good it is worth the little extra splurge. The great thing about Pacini is that as soon as you get there you can head towards the "bread grill bar" or whatever it is called. They basically have a section with different italian breads and spreads (tomato, garlic butter, normal butter, pesto sauce..etc) and you can grill you bread on top of this huge grill. It's a self service, which is really fun and unique. You can stuff yourself with their delicious bread so you don't feel too bad about their smaller dish portions. Since I went there on my birthday, my family told the host to prepare something special and at the end of my meal, all the staff came out singing happy birthday and they brougth me a fruit (oops)tail dish with a candle. It's a very friendly, classy, calm atmosphere but I do wish their prices were a little lower, or that their portions were larger. The service and quality of the food is excellent though. I haven't tried enough dishes to recommend anything, but everything looks appealing.

We were a group of 30 people. We arrived at 12pm and my collegues were served their food between 1:10pm and 1:15 pm. Our reservation was made one day before. Myself and another collegue received our food when everyone finished eating, 1:30pm. It took 40 minutes before our waitress took our order. Our bread basket was never refilled. The manager never apologized about the food being late. He was very arrogant and disrespectful towards us. We are a company of 300 employees and the word will be spread never to return to this restaurant. Get a new manger who is not afraid to help out his employees when there is a big crowd.

I dined here with my family on a recent trip to Mont Tremblant. The food was fantastic. Soups and salads were quite tasty. Everyone I was with had fish and all thought it was great. Hello, today Juin 2nd 2007 Me and my girlfriend from Calgary, Alberta went to visit the second floor (terrasse) to over view St-Denis street, at Restaurant Chez Paesano to have a drink and a little snack and to do a little bit of peolpe watching for fun. Wheel we were very weel received by the young lady working at serving food, we moved a little suspended pot of flower to have a better vue on the street weel the manager came to see us and he did not like this. We offered to put it back into it's place and he told us to never mind but that this was not wright. Then he told us that he was not going to take any (bleep)t from is bus or from us. We just left on the spot because the manager on that floor was so rude. So we do not know if it is a good restaurant. On another note we decided to go accross the street and when we loocked back we realized that we first went their because there was some room. Weel we were surprise that it stayed like this all night it is so funny that all their neighbours were busy and they were not. Go figure.

Would definitely recommend it, its bring your own wine though.

We attempted to dine at Solmar May 26th 2007. After booking a reservation with the owner, we arrived on time, were shown to our table, and provided menus and wine list. Our server was very pleasant. We ordered drinks, then after review, ordered wine, one appetizer and 2 main courses. Wine delivered, opened, allowed to breathe then served. It took over 1 hour to receive the appetizer (a bowl of soup!) Two and one half hours later, we were still waiting for dinner to arrive, with no promise of seeing it anytime soon. We expressed our displeasure, and requested the bill. Apologies were given by the waiter, but no effort made by any staff or the owner to try resolve the appalling kitchen service. In over two hours all we rec'd were olives, bread, and 1 soup. Of equal concern, it was clear from observing the occupied tables around us, most of whom arrived around the time we did, that they had not rec'd their main courses either. We paid full price for the drinks, soup and wine we had. No further effort was made by anyone at this restaurant to solve and/or compensate us for a ruined evening and incompetent kitchen staff. We left, upset, frustrated, and hungary. We will not return, and regretably, would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I had the best manicotti of my life at Parmesan, creamy doesn't even begin to describe it. The tiramisu and capuccino were wonderful too making the meal one of the best I've ever had and totally worth the price. The service was excellent as well, all the waitstaff were very friendly, efficient, and accomodating to non-french speakers. It's not meant to be a quiet or intimate place, it's warm and lively with a singing accordion player and packed tables of people from all over the world. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is a breath of fresh air when you've eaten mess food all week! That aside, the food is great (the roast chicken is to die for, and the appetizers are terrific), and the CR has the *best* pouding chomeur I've had. Whenever I happen to be in St Jean,I always eat at the CR; terrific service, terrific food, great value.

I have again thoroughly enjoyed the lunch experience at Au Petit Cafe. I took my Dad there April 26th on his 90th Birthday. The steak and Kidney pie was tender and delicious and served with a nice salad and bread. We enjoyed a Mixed Berry Cheesecake for dessert. The staff were attentive and friendly . They gathered to sing Happy Birthday to my father. I would not hesitate to go back and bring friends or recommend it to people visiting from out of town like myself. It is a lovely old house justed tucked away waiting to be enjoyed. I remembered going there over thirty years ago and the experience still remains very positive. Congratulation to all the volunteers who have maintained it and help serve the public to this day.

I once worked there and the place is horrible. Food all ovet the floor left from the night before and left for the morning bus boy;s to vaccum, which has led to (oops)roaches and rats. Inspectors keep coming by to check on the place, more then usual from what i know in any restaurant. They came close to closing the place down, but i heard they either gave the place a chance or they were bribed, who knows. The plates and silverware and always dirty, there is a ton of (oops)roaches in the kitchen, so they might be in the food. Some of the management really don't have any people skills with anyone, weither its a customer or the staff, he ridicules people 85% of the time, which isnt great for morale Oh and the glasses aren't clean at all, so when people are drinking from them , they are pretty much drinking whatever food or liquid was in them the night before or even week before. The place should be shut down, no respect or courtesy for customers if there is a problem with the service or food. DO NOT EAT THERE@ I am warning you now, and if inspectors are reading this, now you know and should go check the place out Tuesdays around 10:20 am or around 9:30 pm catch them off guard and see that they use the sinks for placing food in it as a storage and when stuff falls on the floor they still use it to cook with.

Every year I go home for vacation at least once and have to eat at Chez Ron's. There is no place like it. When I am home and meet people that are tourists, I strongly recommend Chez Ron to them. You cannot ask for a better selection of food items and they are all good. Many family members have been sick in the hospital and I spend all of my meals there.....excellent.....

I've been going to Tevere for the past 5-6 years and it is one of the only restaurants I keep going back to. Just plain delicious. Love the place, the ambiance is cozy, the food is to die for. Great idea for group dining would be to order different small or medium pizzas, some pasta dishes and go at it like a sit down buffet. Staff is friendly and accomodating; no request has ever gone unfulfilled.

I often enjoy breakfast at this restaurant. The early morning fresh scones differ daily and the "Chez Eric" Breakfast Sandwich is a real treat. Chez Eric is a most creative place with its daily additions to their eclectic menu/blackboard. Lots of obscure/veggie/vegan opps. But they DO serve meat! This is not a fancy place but one with soul, character and tons of freshness - and a place to witness the local artists who tend gather there in groups.

This is the best Japanese restaurant I have been to in Montreal. The sushi (esp. avocado, asparagus, or vegetarian maki rolls) is beyond divine, and the miso soup is perfect. The service is unerringly excellent, and the atmosphere is always restful and condusive to conversation & relaxation.

This is a little Jam in the middle of nowhere...well not exactly it`s just 10 minutes for Trois Rivieres. The place is enchanting...an old victorian hous extrimelly well kept. Voila trois semaines je suis aller manger avec 4 de mes amies, tout un desapointemnent, le special etait le steak et voila compris dans le special etait l'entree soit escargots ou crevettes moi j'ai prit escargots il; y a 6 trous mais je n'ai eu que 4 escargots le reste etait des champignons, La salade qui est toujours comprise avec n'importe qu'elle plat et bien a ma grande surprise quand j'ai demander pour ma salade maison, le serveur m'a repondu que si je voulais une salade cela me couterait 4.95$ car j'avais une entree avec mon steak oh well garde ta salade car pour 4.95 je peut en acheter BEAUCOUP et bien quel dommage vous venez de me perdre comme cliente je vais maintenant aller au Vieux Duluth.

Important to book a reservation for suppers and is also a good idea for the week end brunches. 5 course meals (generous & delicious portions)range between 29$ to 45$. Great staff is what made this place for me.... The food was very good and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The "Monster" burger did the trick when we wanted a quick bite before the canadiens game, and the next time when we sat down for a nice dinner, the Filet Mignon was beyond tender (especially for the price). We finished off dinner with a nice martini, made to the "t" by the bartender.... He also gave us a list of places to go around town which was surprising and appreciated... I would definitely suggest this as a starting point for anyone just getting in downtown Montreal..

C'est un restaurant de petite municipalité qui a tout de même une certaine classe. Le seul problème est l'étrange réflexion de la nouvelle administration qui a investi dans la rénovation du bar pour en faire un pub et qui semble oublier la partie restaurant. De plus, les serveuses du côté "pub" sont très peu qualifiées pour le service contrairement à celle du côté restaurant. Et le côté restaurant tombe, malheureusement, en ruine (bien qu'il soit la principale part de revenue): tapis usés à la corde, sièges et recouvrements usés, décoration datant d'il y a plus de 10 ans, fenêtres à changer... De plus, on croirait le restaurant sur le point de fermer du à la diminution des horaires de livraision, diminution des heures d'ouvertures... C'est plutôt par souvenir du passé qu'on va y manger.

Roi Du Wonton is a wonderful little restaurant located far from Chinatown, near Concordia. Because of its relative isolation, the restaurant enjoys a quiet ambiance as well as a regular clientele. The cooking and service staff is all family, and they take pride in their food. Although they are very courteous, expect some considerable waiting time before the food arrives. Anyone interested in a quick meal should avoid this place. But if you like homemade Cantonese food, with extremely fresh ingredients (and handmade noodles), and excellent food, this little restaurant is well worth it.

If we want to go out for lunch or dinner, la Perle is the place that we choose 9 times out of 10. The quality is superb and very fresh. My favourite is chicken fried in a light batter with a fresh tasting lemon sauce on it. I think it is made fresh from real lemons. I love the crunchy, stir fried vegetables dish. My daughter loves the General Tao dish. My husband the curry noodle chicken dish. It is freshly made Thai/Sechuan food that is excellent quality...and there is no MSG! The ambient music is pleasant too.

When Mike ran the restaurant a few years ago while I was still in Montreal, it was the best place ever. Mike is the most friendly and coolest guy you can imagine. He lets you do whatever you want in his store, deliver even a pack of smoke to your dorm, and makes friends with you sincerely and truthfully. The food was delicious, except the main dish, I had chosen Stuffed rabbit, unfortunately, the Rabbit wasn't cooked enough and I had to sent it back, when it came back, it still wasn't cooked enough....anyway, the vegetable were good..:o) The negative experience was with the service,....this was a very bad experience...we had to asked for water, then we had to asked for our coffee...never would the staff come and asked us if all was well. We told the employee who brougt us our bill, and she didn't even care...well, for the price we deserved a better treatment. Finally, I am not going to suggest this restaurant to anyone.

I cannot say enough about how much I love this restaurant. My Fiance and I discovered it while we were dating, and if we didn't have to host such large families, our wedding reception would be held here. The staff of this family owned and run restaurant are courteous and friendly, the ambiance is warm and comfortable and the food is fabulous, even the house wine is terrific! Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the meals. Try the cheese platter, is is super. We make the drive up to Bromont from Montreal as often as we can, just to dine in this restaurant. For discerning women out there, the bathroom is cute and very clean. For 2 years I have been judging all other restaurants against Delices, and it's rare that Delices loses the comparison. The only suggestion that I could make is that the opening hours seem a little strange sometimes...my birthday is in late Novembre and we drove up to Bromont for my birthday lunch on a Saturday afternoon...the restautant was scheduled to close in 15 minutes and they didn't want to serve us. But, aftre we explained the trip was just for the meal, I was served the best pasta with pesto & sun dried tomatoes I have ever tasted! Bravo for taking an extra step to please a loyal customer.

The buffet-luncheon was excellent. Mme. Bousquet did an excellent job. The food was fresh and excellent. The desserts were all homemade - cookies, cake, along side a FRESH fruit salad. Everyone was pleased and surprised at the fact there was only 1 store, 1 Church, and 1 Restaurant!!! - and they could handle the number of people we were (82). The place and toilets were immaculately clean. The service excellent. Moreover, it is on the way back to Montreal. I highly recommend it for any group size activity.

When someone near me dared to ask why we were waiting despite the reservation, the “maître d’hôtel” began to yell at her and told her to wait like the rest of the sheeps (they were not his words but the meaning was quite obvious to all concerned). Finally, we got seated. It took about half an hour before we could order drinks, although people who arrived about fifteen minutes after us at the table beside ours had already ordered them from the same waiter (we found out later they knew someone he knew). After that, it was a nightmare of bad service. The food was good, which appears to be the only good thing about that place. We even had to wait over twenty minutes to get the bill. After paying, I told the waiter I did not appreciate his service. He followed me through the door outside yelling at me that I probably went to a restaurant only once a year. I often go to restaurants, across North America. I’ve never had an experience as bad and a waiter so incompetent. If I had indeed been the type to go to a restaurant once a year, going to Villa Massimo would have been the best way to spoil the event.

This is an outstanding restaurant, full of life, exceptionally good food, and an ambiance that doesn't quit. When we went, it wasn't dinner; it was an opera of ravioli, salad, and veal. Dover sole was also on the menu, and it was prepared better than any we have had, anywhere. The wine collection is a knockout, by the way, and our waiter's wine recommendation was astonishingly on point. We never felt rushed, even though we were the last people to leave. We even had room for the Crepes Suzettes, which had real flavor and texture that surpassed the comparatively bland offerings we had had on the Left Bank near Boulevard Saint-Germain last year. We were fully engaged with the waitstaff; our waiter kept the evening vibrant with good humor, meaningful discussions of food, and a general feeling of special attention to our table for four -- just because we showed some interest in how our various dishes were to be prepared. This is a special place, stuck weirdly in the middle of a shopping plaza, but replete with real people.

We were a group of 10 and had reserved approximately 1 week ahead of time and even called to confirm our reservation in the evening prior to going to the restaurant. They had told us, no problem, that they would look after us. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes. When the manager was confronted she was rude, and ignorant. This being said, the service that we received once seated was good and the food was delicious. But next time, I will go to the other creperie in town...

Avoid ordering from this restaurant. Although that restaurant offers points you can use to buy some items when you order through the internet, I strongly advise against this. 30%-50% of the time they did not deliver anything although their site confirmed the order. It is a problem they know about but never fixed. They also never offered any kind of excuses or answered back emails about the problem.

An absolutely wonderful small guest house made very special by hospitality of it's owners. Ignace met us at the bus station, provided use of a canoe and bicycles, even a computer to access internet, all free of charge. I visited Guido's a few years ago. It was a slow night, Guido personally visited the table and I had the 9 course sampling menu. I'm a chef by trade, I trained in Europe, and it was almost a religious experience. The purity of the food, the elegance of presentation, the simplicity of the ingredients. Absolutely top notch, food worth eating, bloody awesome.

Absolutely famous! This was the best moose steak I had in my entire life!! It was juicy and soooo flavorful with all those aboriginal spices and techniques. You should ask them for the "Waswannipi Bannik with ti fruits de la swompe" ; pronounce "Wah-CheeWah-Nee-Pee-Bah-NeeK-with-tee-frwree-dee-lah -swoompee" It's so marvellous, better with some spruce syrup, boiled by the Cree communities living alla around in the wonderful wilderness of the "Baie-James" For an exciting and unbeliveable trip in the real mioddle of nowhere without missing any good eats then Desmaraisville and all it's surroundings are the place to be!!! This is a wonderful "bring-your-own-wine" restaurant, with delightful people and good service. The food is beyond anything you might expect from such a small, little place. You can reserve a romantic table for two, but do not be surprised to find one or two larger groups celebrating in their favourite restaurant. On our first visit, we were told to try (of all things) the liver and onions. Apparently, the two ladies making the recommendation travel from the West Island once a month to enjoy it. My husband's uncle tried it and loved it and it is now the only item he orders when we gather at Alex H. My favourite dish is the Gamberi Shrimp: large, flat ribbons of handmade pasta in the buttery-est white sauce, served with shrimp that have been in a lovely hot marinade, with red peppers, onions and mango. I love this dish, and Alex himself is kind enough to make it for me with no onions (as I do not like onions)! I recommend this restaurant with no hesitation, and enjoy trying a new dish every time we visit.

To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, our group discover this Sushi restaurant Sakeo last week in Montreal Plateau district. Very cute restaurant with wonderful ambiance, great service and plus the Asian food and sushi are excellent. We tried their sushi and we could really feel the finesse and freshness of their specialties sushi (Rouleau mexican, Sakeo maki..). It tasted so good, the best sushi we've ever tried! A friend from our group tried the general Tao, and he enjoyed it alot too. Hey our group had a great dining experience and all of us had good time. I highly recommened this excellent sushi and asian Sakeo restaurant to every one.

This is an excellent restaurant to eat in. The food is freshly prepared home made and the portions are rather generous. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service is quite good. The only problem is that being English, you can only communicate with your roommate who eats their with you. All around a good place.

This restaurant has questional practices regarding cleanliness. Some chicken that we had was still pink and undercooked, and a cigarette butt was discovered in a co-diner's rice pudding. The manager offered a free meal to the person who had the offending rice pudding, but that was it. We will never return to Vichy's or Lasalle.

A wonderful Jewel half way between Montreal & Ottawa. Serves as the perfect venue for us and our close friends who live in Napean to meet since it is not a long drive for either of us. A wonderful cozy atmosphere enhanced by a Central wood buring fireplace and Candles burning on the tables. The Rack Of Lamb is not to be missed. They can serve it up as well as any four start restaurant in Montreal or Toronto. Service is very good - Country Hospitality. The wine list is not extensive but they have a few decent selections. Excellent value for the quality. Definitely worth the drive on a snowy winter evening to meet good friends and dine to great food.

Terrible service. Extremely rude. They added a tip to the bill and didn't advise us. When we asked why and pointed out that they hadn't indicated to us in advance, the manager said it was because they get a lot of vacationing clientele who don't tip, so they force the tip on their customers. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, the manager shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
